Terms and conditions
Conditions of entry:
- The competition information and conditions of entry contain information on how to enter the competition and the prizes on offer. Entry into the promotion is deemed to be an acknowledgment of these Conditions of Entry.
- Promotion commences 30 September 2009. Entries close at 5pm, Sunday 25 October 2009.
- Entry is open to Australian residents only. Employees of the Australian Water Association (AWA), National Water Commission or sponsors of National Water Week 2009, and the immediate families of these entities, are not eligible to enter.
- To enter, customers must fill in the competition form on www.nationalwaterweek.org.au/competition, stating in 25 words or less what the entrant will be doing during National Water Week 2009 to help secure our water future.
- The 20 entries deemed most interesting and creative in terms of smart water savings by the judges will win a Ripple Products Water Saving pack, which includes one Digital Shower Timer, one Acrylic Shower Timer, one Teeth Timer, and one pack of Enviro Tips, with a recommended retail value of $50.00. Total prize value is $1000.00.
- Winners must have submitted a valid daytime telephone contact number and postal address to receive their prize.
- No responsibility is accepted for late or misdirected entries.
- All valid entries will be reviewed on Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 October 2009. The judging panel comprises three staff (Edie Nyers, Lian Turk and Patricia Dames) from the Australian Water Association.
- If any prizes are unclaimed, a runner up will be awarded the prize pack.
- The Judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The winners will be notified by phone on Friday 30 October, 2009 and by email thereafter.
- If the winner of a prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian.
- Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods and services. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize for a prize of equal or greater value.
- The AWA needs to collect personal information about you (your information) to record your details for the competition and to notify you if you win a prize. The AWA respects your privacy and will only use or disclose your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988. The information you provide will only be used in the administration of this competition.
